The Aim of the Play Hub is to provide a centre that will act as a central Hub for the community and increase access to services for children and young people.

Our vision sees The Play Hub at the heart of the community providing a sustainable, secure, diverse and accessible space that is valued and supported by the people of Llandrindod Wells and the surrounding areas. Through the Hub we aim to promote, enable and facilitate inclusive activities, which embrace and address the play, education, training, employment, welfare, health, social, cultural and recreational needs of young people and the wider local community.

 

A dedicated centre that will increase access to services for children and young people and act as a central Hub for play and community activities or events and provide extended volunteering opportunities for residents of Llandrindod Wells, Radnorshire and North Brecknockshire.  The Play Hub will enable Play Radnor to not only deliver its current services far more effectively but also to enable the organisation to develop and better respond to the needs of children and young people throughout Powys, further improving opportunities for the local community and supporting outreach projects addressing the local issues of rural isolation and poverty. It will provide a central Hub for likeminded organisations in the area, improving partnership working and developing stronger services throughout the county to improve the lives of its inhabitants.
